Artistic photographer, Cedric Hampton released three new artworks for sale. The 2023 Annual Tall Grass Gallery Artists Exhibition
August 5 – September 17, 2023

Tall Grass Arts Association is honored to present Cedric L. Hampton and the works of its family of juried Gallery Artists in their annual exhibition ANTHOLOGY. The show will run from August 5th through September 17, 2023, with an Opening Reception on Saturday, August 5th from 1pm to 3pm. Everyone is invited to attend the Reception to view the exhibit and meet the artists.

As a group, the artists have been recognized in numerous local, regional, national, and international shows. Many will be familiar to our visitors, having shown their work through Tall Grass exhibits in the past several years. Others are newcomers to our Tall Grass Gallery Artists family, juried in for the first time this year.

Our annual show always includes a range of subjects and techniques, media, and styles. The 78 artists this year provide works that demonstrate their skill, their experience, their diverse interests and inspirations, their willingness to experiment, and their joy in creating wonderful images and objects.

This year our Artist Cedric L. Hampton will be exhibiting his new work, “Evergreens and Waterfalls”. This digitally painted 24”x20” photograph is in full HD color and printed on premium canvas. Cedric is an accomplished artist, author and publisher. He was added to Tall Grass family of Gallery Artists in 2012.

Curated by Kate Patterson, Claudia Craemer and Debbie Craemer, ANTHOLOGY promises to be a huge, exciting exhibit. The show will be on view through Sunday, September 17, 2023, which coincides with the final day of the Park Forest Art Fair. Many of the exhibit’s artists will also be displaying work at the Fair. All are invited to come and enjoy both the Gallery Exhibit and the Art Fair!

2020 VISIONS The Annual Tall Grass Gallery Artists Exhibit

The signed original and framed canvas print of Impression Of Three During The Autumn is now on sale. This beautiful impressionist landscape is available for purchase at the 2020 VISIONS exhibition at the Tall Grass Arts Association Gallery. Please contact the gallery for pricing. The exhibition runs from Saturday August 8 through September 20, 2020.

The show is curated by Claudia Craemer, Richard Schmidt and Debbie Craemer. It will showcase paintings, drawings, prints, photographs, sculpture, ceramics, collage, mixed media, fibers, jewelry and represent a wide range of subjects.

Cedric Hampton has completed his yearlong project to publish the book Take Comfort. Take Comfort is a 112-page book of Biblical scriptures and digital fine art photographs. They are assembled to help relax, calm and reduce everyday stresses of the reader. Cedric lives in Illinois and photographs mostly here and in the Midwest. Thus, his subjects at first glance don’t seem to capture the imagination. Through his love of nature, experience, use of color and texture Cedric turns unremarkable scenes into memorable places. Artistic Photographer, Cedric Hampton, was selected to participate in the group exhibition “Taking An Art Trip”. This show is a visual vacation, it presents a broad range of subjects and styles by a group of professional juried artists. Cedric’s original signed artwork “Summer On The Lake” will be on display and for sale during the show. The exhibition is sponsored by the Tall Grass Arts Association, the Curator is Richard Schmidt. Taking An Art Trip will be shown in the Tall Grass Gallery located in Park Forest, Illinois. It will run from August 3 through September 16, 2018. An Artist reception will be held on Saturday, August 4th, 1:00pm to 3:00pm. The exhibition and reception are free and open to the public. Great news!! It was announced that my entry in the contest Bridges You Cross While Hiking won 3rd Place. The artwork I entered was"Bridge In The Moon Light" a composite creation that has a romantic mood. The contest was sponsored by artists on Fine Art America which has an international following.
