The Fine Art America group Art For Charities has featured two of Cedric Hampton's photo paintings. The works are Summer On The Lake and Fallen Leaves, two of Cedric's seasonal landscapes. He was lucky to catch a flock of geese flying towards him. The picture was captured in the marsh areas of Monee, Illinois. Cedric is known for creating lush landscapes of the woodlands in and around Cook County in Illinois which Midsummer Dream depicts. FAA's group Artistic Aperture selected it Image of the Week and featured it on August 9, 2017. Two other groups also featured it on their group home page. Beginning Saturday, August 5, 2017 Tall Grass Arts Association presents the Annual Gallery Artists’ Exhibition titled Creative Imaginations. The show will run through Sunday, September 17, 2017. This is a major show for Park Forest, Illinois and the Chicago area. One of the artist’s chosen to exhibit is FAA’s own Cedric Hampton. His work “Under The Galvaston Pier” will be showcased. Cedric is a fine art photographer whose work has won awards and is well received throughout the country.

Cedric has traveled throughout the U.S., Caribbean, and Canada. Originally from Chicago he now resides in southern Cook County, Illinois where he has set out to capture the beauty of the lush forests this part of the Midwest has to offer.
