The fine art photography of Cedric Hampton was honored today. The FAA group Beautiful Picturesque Landscapes featured Cedric's piece "Autumn Song" on the groups webpage. The scene was captured in southern Cook County Forest Preserves and highlights the beauty of autumn. Cedric stated that he doesn't capture landscapes just the way they are but how nature makes him feel. Special thanks to Bob Phillips, Group Administrator for this honor and for all of his hard work.

Cedric Hampton invites you to the 61st Annual Park Forest Art Fair in Illinois. Cedric will have two original signed photo paintings for sale inside the Tall Grass Art Gallery.The fair will run from Saturday, September 17th to Sunday, September 18, 2016, 10am to 5pm. It is located in downtown Park Forest, on Main St. between Western Ave. and Orchard Drive. There will be fine art, food and music at the fair. Cedric is known for creating works through the manipulation, re-imaging and the rendering of photographs that gives them a broader scope, breath and a deeper perspective. The advent of digital photography and software has taken his ideas, talent and skills of expression to new heights. Like a painter that uses different brushes, techniques, light and shadow; he does the same digitally to communicate his creative vision and openness of interpretation. Many of his compositions derive from his love of nature and are quite diverse. Cedric’s subjects include landscapes, portraits, abstracts and architecture. Each artwork’s purpose is to heighten one’s experience of life, enhance people’s surroundings and to share Cedric’s visions.
